HRT Recorder is designed to work without an account, advertising, third-party analytics, or a developer-operated data server.
The app may store information you enter or import, including medication events, dates and times, notes, medication plans, reminders, body weight, HRT profile settings, lab report images or text, and extracted lab results. This data is used to provide the features you request and is stored locally in the app or its Apple app-group containers.
Lab report scanning uses Apple system frameworks on the device. HRT Recorder does not upload lab reports to a developer server. Review extracted results before saving or using an eligible result for calibration.
The developer cannot access records that remain only in the app, its app-group containers, or the Health app.
If you grant permission, HRT Recorder may read supported medication events and body weight from the Health app. It writes body weight only when you choose that action. Health access is optional, can be changed in iOS Settings or the Health app, and is not used for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage.
If you choose to email support, the developer receives the information you send, which can include your email address, message, app and operating-system versions, device model, and an optional screenshot. Please remove names, record numbers, lab values, and other medical information that is not necessary to answer your question.
Support information is used only to respond, diagnose the reported issue, protect the app, and improve reliability. The legal basis, where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, is the developer’s legitimate interest in providing support and maintaining the app. Support messages are normally deleted within 12 months after the request is resolved, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is reasonably required for security, dispute, or legal obligations.
Features you invoke through Siri, Shortcuts, Apple Watch, TestFlight, or other Apple system services may be processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policies and the settings of your Apple Account and device. HRT Recorder does not operate those services or receive your Apple Account credentials.
HRT Recorder does not:
Apple may provide developers with App Store or TestFlight diagnostics, such as crash reports, device and OS information, and basic performance metrics, according to your device and Apple Account settings. The developer uses diagnostics actually received only to investigate failures and improve reliability, based on the same legitimate interest. Any diagnostic exported by the developer is normally deleted within 12 months; Apple controls retention within its services.
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. HRT Recorder adds no advertising or analytics to the site. GitHub may process technical request information such as an IP address, user agent, and access logs under the GitHub Privacy Statement. The developer does not receive your HRT records through this website.
Support email and Apple system features use Apple services, which are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Depending on where these providers operate, technical or support information may be processed outside your country under the safeguards described by the relevant provider.
Local records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app. Removing the app may not delete information that you separately chose to write to the Health app; manage that data in Health. You can revoke Apple Health, Siri, notification, and other system permissions at any time in system settings. Retention for support and developer-exported diagnostics is described above.
HRT Recorder relies on iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS security controls and Apple-provided data containers. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure; keep your device software and passcode up to date.
HRT Recorder is not directed to children under 13.
Because the developer cannot access data that remains only on your device, you control that data directly through the app, Health, and system settings. For support messages or diagnostics held by the developer, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where those rights apply. Email mihari.suki@icloud.com; the developer may need enough information to verify and locate your request.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. In France, this is the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
